Responsibilities

  • Provides clinical and technical support to clinicians and staff during procedures related to SIR-Spheres microspheres
  • Delivers sales presentations and performs on-site product demonstrations to physicians and other health care professionals
  • Assists in the development and implementation of account plans for key accounts and partners to generate strategic relationships that will result in increased sales within assigned territory
  • Achieve sales budget by maintaining current active accounts and establish new potential accounts and referrals
  • Propose, plan and execute sales strategies according to the market feedback 
  • Gather market information during daily sales activities
  • Assists in meeting and exceeding business targets
  • Serves as the primary backup contact for the Senior Manager, Sales & Market Development – Greater China, as needed
  • Develops an understanding of the market unique to assigned territory
  • Continuously educates oneself on the latest information related to disease states and the ever-changing business environment
  • Continuously educates oneself on the newest and most relevant clinical articles that impact Sirtex
  • Develops relationships in all areas of the hospital that are key to Sirtex
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management
  • Undergo all formal training events as may be directed from time-to-time
  • Observe and comply with all Sirtex Corporate Policies
  • Work within, and ensure adherence to Quality System procedures, work instructions and other Quality System requirements
  • Work within, and ensure adherence to Health, Safety and Environment Management System procedures, instructions and other requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 2 years of oncology sales experience. Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) or Liver metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) background strongly preferred
  • Ability to effectively interact with a variety of health care professionals
  • Demonstrates initiative, creativity and resourcefulness
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Resides in and able to travel within the assigned territory
  • Travels 15% which can include weekends/public holidays, as needed
  • Physical requirements include sitting, walking, standing for prolonged amount of time, possible exposure to radiation and ability to lift up to 25 lbs (approx 11 kgs)
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Current and valid driver's license

SIR-Spheres Y-90 resin microspheres are indicated for the treatment of unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and unresectable metastatic liver tumors from primary colorectal cancer in patients refractory to or intolerant of chemotherapy.
