Jesse Hansen is the global head of marketing for Sirtex. He is responsible for leading the development and growth of our targeted interventional oncology strategy as well as building commercial capabilities and relationships with external partners.
With more than 20 years in the medical device industry, Jesse is well versed in the interventional radiology and oncology space. Prior to joining Sirtex in 2020, he served as vice president of corporate product marketing for Merit Medial Systems, Inc., where he led various teams responsible for product development, field-based marketing, strategic distribution partnerships and acquisition-related activities. Jesse also worked as a senior product manager at Becton Dickinson and managed the company’s largest soft tissue repair portfolio. Before that, he had global marketing responsibilities for Medtronic’s vascular therapy deep-vein-thrombosis-prevention portfolio as well as the patient care and safety thermometry portfolio. Prior, Jesse worked as a senior product manager at Merit Medical, overseeing 15-plus product lines in various medical segments including interventional radiology, interventional cardiology, vascular surgery.
Jesse received an MBA with an emphasis in marketing and a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Phoenix.
